So I decided to set up a blog to document my spring semester in Italy. I have never blogged before, and I feel like it has become an online art form of sorts. I will try to keep it entertaining.

Now that I have my shiny Italian visa and my suitcases pulled out from storage, it is starting to set in that I am really going. It will be interesting to see if I can fit all my essential possessions for the next five months into two suitcases.

I think the next time I write here will be once I arrive in Milan. That's when the magia will start happening...
